STARS Tutorial | Advanced Material Usage in Railway Industry
In this STARS tutorial, you will learn about Advanced Materials utilized in Railway systems. The term advanced materials refer to examples from advanced alloys, technical ceramics, polymers, fiber reinforced composites as well as emerging smart materials and relevant micro/nano fabrication approaches. We will also dive in to the current trends and possible future strategies to decrease carbon foot print and improve sustainability.
STARS Tutorial: Sustainable and Green Rail System & Green Freight Logistic Chain
In this STARS tutorial, you will learn about two of eight Technological Innovation Trends, from the Technology Innovation Analysis provided by RAILENIUM and regarding to the sustainable and green rail system and freight logistic chain.
STARS Tutorial Using Advanced Optimization Algorithms in Transport and Logistics
In this STARS tutorial, there will be a demonstration of powerful algorithms for integrated routing optimization solutions that incorporate both cartography and vehicle routing algorithms. Vehicle Routing Problem (a combinatorial optimization problem) has a very high flexibility to accommodate exotic business-specific constraints and yet deliver high efficiency.
