With the second round of open calls, the E-BOOST EU project is opening up new funding opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that develop products or services in the field of electromobility.
5 new Open Calls as part of the E-BOOST project
The general objective of the Open Calls is to
- identify product innovations to reduce dependency on critical inputs and technologies in the E- BOOST value chains
- introduce new products or services for companies and
- involve stakeholders from regions with different levels of economic development.
About the E-BOOST project
The E-BOOST project (ElectromoBility for the recOvery and internatiOnalization of Small enTerprises) is a transnational cluster project co-funded by the EU to establish a new metacluster on electromobility - from batteries to fuel cells - involving local SMEs and start-ups.
The E-BOOST project aims to develop a dynamic and resilient European electric mobility ecosystem by supporting SMEs and start-ups in the transition to a greener and more digital economy.
The project includes a €700,000 funding scheme for SMEs and startups to strengthen their business resilience, green and digital transformation, innovation and internationalisation. The cascade funding consists of seven calls for proposals for innovative products, services and processes as well as market support services for SMEs and start-ups.
Furthermore, the individual work packages include identifying the innovation needs of SMEs and start-ups in the EU, developing corporate strategies, training employees in the field of electromobility, supporting the search for international partners through cooperation agreements and opening up foreign markets. The project will also develop a strategic internationalisation plan that includes a market analysis by country and political framework, a portfolio of services and matchmaking events.
