ERCI Delegation at the Railway Interchange Exhibition in Indianapolis, USA

You are invited to join the ERCI delegation at the Railway Interchange exhibition in Indianapolis, US, during the period  20-22 May 2025 at the Indiana Convention Centre.  This invitation is open to you if you are exhibiting, co-exhibiting with your US parent/subsidiary company, exhibiting with a US distributor of your goods or simply visiting the show as a delegate.

The show runs from afternoon on Tuesday 20^th  May through to lunch time on the third day (Thursday 22^nd May) and the ERCI supporting programme will take place during the afternoons of the first two days of the show.  Additionally, during the morning of the second day, we will provide a brief guided tour around the show identifying points of interest relevant to international visitors.      

Purpose of the ERCI Delegation to Indianapolis

The purpose of the delegation is to provide you with knowledge exchange opportunities that will help you to better understand the US Railroad landscape and its potential supply chain opportunities. ERCI is in the process of creating this programme which will include representation from some of the US railroad trade associations (REMSA, RSI and RSSI) as well as US railroad clients (for example: Class 1 Railroads such as Norfolk Southern (freight), CSX (freight) as well as AMTRAK (passenger)).  

Confirmed Speakers

We have already had confirmed speakers from the following organisations:

• REMSA trade association (see www.remsa.org)
• MxV Rail who provide information on standards, regulation as well as carrying out testing and trialling for product development (see www.mxvrail.com)

Also, we will be able to present at the REMSA innovation theatre, a presentation space at the show grounds. We are looking to organise a panel format together with the German exhibitor Menlo79 GmbH, a company specialising in communication for railway.

In order to subsidise the costs associated with setting up this programme, ERCI will levy a cost of €190 per company (companies can bring more than one delegate to these meetings).  Although the programme is still ‘work in progress’, ERCI is seeking expressions of interest (EOI) without financial commitment at this stage from ERCI cluster members.

We will then pass this EOI to the ERCI Railway Interchange Planning Team.  At this stage, we are only trying to measure the interest level – a more formal application process will take place during April/May.
