The University Presence Luckenwalde invites to the Technology and Innovation Evening with exhibition opening

Under the motto "Science Meets Disaster Management," scientists from the Department of Aeronautical Engineering will present the results of the state-funded ALARM project.

ALARM (Advanced Low Altitude Reconnaissance and Monitoring System) stands for an overall system consisting of several unmanned aerial systems, sensor technology, data acquisition and transmission, airspace surveillance and flight control, which is specially designed for air support during rescue and disaster operations. It is intended to help provide comprehensive information for the detection and assessment of major emergencies by means of air support.

The experience and technologies gained there are currently also being incorporated into the federally funded 5G disaster protection project ALADIN.

The event is aimed at people with a professional background in the fields of firefighting, civil protection and rescue, as well as anyone interested in the topic.

The exhibits presented during the evening will also be available for viewing by interested visitors after the event.

The event is free of charge. Registration under https://lets-meet.org/reg/6e81163109dd28c97b is requested in advance.
