What to expect?

The event will present the key research results from the WP2 of the LEADER 2030 project, dedicated to the analysis of what raw materials and components are necessary to produce the innovations the European Commission and European industries are investing in through the Europe’s Rail programme.

The presentation will summarise the key highlights, showing the challenges ahead of Europe in ensuring the necessary raw materials and components for Rail innovations, in a period of growing protectionisms, competition on raw materials between countries and sectors, limited availability of critical raw materials and components, climate change impacting global value chains Europe is relying on.

About LEADER 2030

The aim of the EU LEADER 2030 project led by ERCI is to develop measures that contribute to strengthening the resilience of European supply chains for raw materials for the railway sector in the current global situation.
