Skilled Professionals Wanted Across the Railway Industry
Within Faculty V, the Institute of Land and Sea Transport at Technische Universität Berlin (TU Berlin) offers two outstanding academic departments with direct relevance to the railway sector: Railway Operations and Infrastructure and Rail Vehicles. These are complemented by related disciplines such as Transport Planning, Transport Telematics, and Drive and Engine Technology.
Due to the growing demand for environmentally friendly rail systems and the continued expansion of rail transport infrastructure, skilled professionals are needed across all areas of the railway industry. For this reason, we have decided to once again host the jobwunderRAIL Career Day at TU Berlin in 2026, providing students with the opportunity to learn about career prospects in a variety of professional fields.

Exchange on Attractive Career Opportunities and Concrete Job Prospects
The jobwunderRAIL Career Day will take place in close proximity to the research and teaching facilities of the Railway Operations and Infrastructure department, at a central location on TU Berlin’s main campus.
The event gives companies, public authorities, research institutions, and startups from the railway sector the opportunity to engage with students and graduates from relevant disciplines at TU Berlin in informative discussions about attractive employment opportunities and specific career prospects.
The program is complemented by career counseling services and informative specialist presentations.
