IDEALIST H&M #4 - Call for Chellenges

Weaving Innovation and Resilience

  • Are you a start-up, SME, or large company?
  • Do you belong to one of the three ecosystems (energy-intensive industries; aerospace and defence; mobility, transport and automotive)?
  • Are you a manufacturing company and unsure how to fully exploit the potential of advanced technologies?

If so, briefly define your related challenge for Hack & Match Event #4 “Advanced Technologies for Manufacturing Industries” within the framework of the IDEALIST project. Please note that the project language is English.

About the IDEALIST Project

The main objective of the IDEALIST project is to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in three key industrial ecosystems:

  • Energy-intensive industries 
  • Aerospace & defence 
  • Mobility, transport & automotive 

Meet experts and find tailored solutions

To shape the future of advanced manufacturing and promote the adoption of additive manufacturing, hybrid processes, advanced robotics, and autonomous systems, the fourth IDEALIST Hack & Match Event focuses on the topic “Advanced Technologies for Manufacturing Industries”.

The IDEALIST project invites you to define your challenges related to the use of advanced technologies in your company and submit them for the upcoming Hack & Match Event #4.

This is a unique opportunity to connect with experts and find innovative, tailor-made solutions that address your specific needs.

Who can participate?

THE PARTICIPANTS in the H&M event can therefore be:

  • CHALLENGE PROVIDERS (SMEs (including start-ups), Mid-Caps, Large companies
  • SOLUTION PROVIDERS (Tech-savvy SMEs, start-ups, Researchers, Technology centres, EDIH, Digital Innovation Hubs, Accelerators and other similar scale-up organisations). 

How does it work?

  1. CALL FOR CHALLENGES | APPLY FROM NOW TO 13 FEBRUARY 2026Any eligible organisation is invited to submit through this form one or more challenges (needs) which it is facing and would like to find solutions at the moment. 

  2. THEN WE WILL LAUNCH A "CALL FOR SOLUTIONS": We will invite organisations throughout Europe to team-up with you to help you find one or more solutions to your needs. It will stay open from 16 FEBRUARY to 20 MARCH, 2026

  3. THEN WE WILL INFORM YOU ABOUT THE COMPOSITION OF YOUR TEAM AND SEND THE INSTRUCTIONS TO JOIN: Between 23 and 31 MARCH, 2026 you will be informed about your Solution Provider(s).

  4. GET PREPARED FOR COLLABORATING TO SOLVE YOUR NEEDS - SAVE THE DATES FROM NOW: The Hack&Match event will run from 1 to 2 APRIL, 2026 in 100% online mode.

You must ensure your presence in these moments:

  • 1 APRIL - From 9:00 to 10:30: Kick-Off Meeting - Expert Key-note Speech - Presentation of the teams - Explanation of the rules and working modalities.
  • 1 APRIL - From 10:30 to 11:30: Team-up with your Solution Provider(s) - Reciprocal presentations - Explain carefully your needs - Start finding one or more solutions. Start drafting the slides and word document to explain the solution. Agree with your Solution Provider(s) the next online meeting times to develop your solution.
  • 2 APRIL - By 15:30 you must return to the organisers the 2 deliverables explaining the solution(s) developed.
  • 2 APRIL - From 16:00 to 17:30: Organisers' recap of the solutions of each Team.
