Hack 2 Rail Online Hackathon

Shift2Rail, in partnership with Siemens, is organising Hack 2 Rail, an online hackathon on 23-24 October 2021. You are invited to participate in developing Europe’s future rail solutions.

Interested in knowing more about rail research and innovation?

Join the hackathon in a team to collaborate with the organisers and transport experts to create innovative solutions for the 2 key topics: Passenger Rail and Rail Freight!

In addition to cash prizes, the winning team will be invited to showcase their solution at two global trade shows at the Shift2Rail stand and will have the possibility of potentially working with Siemens Mobility or other Shift2Rail Members to further develop their winning idea for market deployment.

Hackathon timeline:

• 1 July: Registrations open
• 20-30 September: Webinar Series
• 10 October: Ideas submission deadline
• 13 October: Shortlisted ideas announcement
• 23-24 October: Online Hackathon
• 29 October: Demo Day
