What to expect?
In this ERCI Webinar you will learn about the use of GS1 for transparency in the multimodal/railway supply chain. GS1 is a not-for-profit, international organization that develops and maintains standards for barcodes and other identification systems. It was founded in 1974 and is headquartered in Brussels, Belgium. GS1 standards are widely used across industries to improve efficiency, safety, and transparency in supply chains2. One of its most well-known contributions is the barcode, which revolutionized retail and logistics by enabling products to be scanned electronically. GS1 also works on RFID technology, product data synchronization, and next-generation barcodes to bridge the physical and digital worlds.
