What to expect?

In this ERCI Webinar you will learn about next generation audio solutions for railway passengers.

The noise level at the seat has a significant impact on passengers' comfort during the journey. Seats are now used as mobile offices, with passengers making phone calls or using their mobile devices for office tasks, emails or multimedia, and they like to block out driving noise or conversation noise. For most passengers, minimal disturbance to others, e.g. in open-plan cabins, is preferable. In this webinar, voice INTER connect GmbH (Germany) provides insights into advanced acoustic sensors, technologies for improving vehicle and cabin acoustics, and measures for increasing the speech quality of the sound system. In addition, future technological solutions will also enable weight savings and the customisation of seat acoustics.

Ampetronic (United Kingdom), in partnership with Listen Technologies, will present Auri™, the world’s first Auracast™ broadcast audio–based solution for assistive listening, designed to deliver high‑quality, low‑latency, multi‑channel audio directly to hearing aids, earbuds, headphones, and mobile devices. The session will explore how Auri™ represents the next generation of inclusive audio technology, offering extended coverage, seamless integration with existing systems, and broad compatibility with both dedicated receivers and emerging consumer devices. Attendees will gain insight into how Auri™ future‑proofs accessibility in public transport and complex venues by combining professional‑grade installation features with a scalable, device‑agnostic user experience.
