In this ERCI webinar you will learn about modern solutions for condition based maintenance in railway operations.

What to Expect

Discover the power of condition-based maintenance and its role in the rail industry's evolution. Optimize Your Assets: Learn how to reduce downtime and increase the lifespan of rail infrastructure. Smart Monitoring Solutions: Explore the latest technologies and tools that make condition-based maintenance efficient and cost-effective. Don't miss this unique opportunity to stay at the forefront of rail maintenance innovation. Learn how condition-based strategies can help you cut costs, enhance safety, and improve rail service reliability.

The first presentation is from NET-Automation Systems GmbH, an Austrian innovative company specializing in automation solutions and systems for industrial applications and offers customized solutions to increase efficiency and optimize processes in various industries. The innovative NETBEE brake force measuring system revolutionizes brake force measurement through the use of thin-film foil sensors. This technology is implemented within a measurement trolley, enabling wireless data transmission and convenient operation via a tablet PC.

The second presentation comes from Railway Metrics and Dynamics (RMD) which is commissioned by Swedish infrastructure owner Trafikverket through an innovation tender. The aim is to complement today's infrequent infrastructure inspections by instrumenting trains in traffic with RMD’s Performance Measuring Units and using machine learning to improve decision support for infrastructure as well as vehicle maintenance. How can we enable digital transformation with RMD innovations? How can we monitor the quality of the interaction by the two components of the railway system: vehicles and infrastructure?
